St. Catherine of Siena (St. John Eudes)

Wednesday 18th Week
Night Office Readings
This morning the Passage from 2 Chronicles 20:5-25 sounded out the battle on the Lord’s side.
The reader’s Second writing was left void of cognition, of any word, except the name of St. Catherine.
Following the text, the quotation had its own unction.
“It is what the Lord said to Saint Catherine of Siena: ‘My daughter, forget yourself and think of me, and I for my part will think continually of you.”’ (St. John Eudes from The Kingdom of Jesus).
