Commemoration of the Martyrs of Our Lady of Atlas, 21st May 2014

The Seven Cistercians Martyrs. 20^th May 2014.

1.     When  silent earth moves to
Heaven.
We see you waiting
there
for us.

2.     Singing enjoying life
Dear Brothers,
no palm,
quiet in the deep,
testing of your souls,
pray for us.

3.     Seven red roses
one for each of
you.
Placed in our
Chapel here today
a lovely present.
Pray for us.

After-noon time  of prayer, Helen was in a regular visit. After the Office of None, the Sacristan placed the seven red roses for the Atlas Martyrs near to the altar. Later, he received the poem from Helen, a grace in the spirit of the Monks of Tibhirine.
